A forum for the future
The Resource Use Institute (RUI) acts as a forum for discussion, vision thinking and cross-sectoral collaboration on the use of natural resources, to the benefit of a more resilient, dynamic and progressive economy in Scotland.
It identifies areas where market failures, policy divergence and conflicting priorities act as barriers to the development of the resource economy, and it works to stimulate the development of new solutions, ideas, policies and initiatives to faciliate the efficient use of Scotland's natural resources as one aspect of a regeneration of the Scottish economy.
